Animal Friendly Cosmetics
My wife and I recently met up with some friends of ours for dinner and we had an interesting discussion about products that use animals for testing. Our friend Allison volunteers at an animal shelter in New Jersey and she hears so many horror stories about pets being mistreated by cruel owners.
But even more disturbing is the way animals are mistreated by companies who are only interested in making a buck. One of the prime offenders is the cosmetic industry which tests all sorts of products on animals. Thousands of innocent animals are killed or maimed every year in the name of beauty.
